Really helpful. If a V1 gen 1 doesn't say 'ESP' under the volume knob it will not work with Tech display, Unit powers up just fine and has been in service for years, absolutely no issues. Currently custom programmed for Ka-band and Laser but you can re-program this any way like. Also has the 'J-out' feature to filter those cheap Cobra radar detectors some drivers run that may look like a Ka-band but V1 will quickly alert you and them out.
This unit WILL WORK with Valentines new Tech Display.
